Mary had been mortified when pictures of her bare backside were emblazoned across every newspaper. Since then she has learned to laugh off the inevitable jibes.

With a sweet smile, she says: "When Michael turned me upside down that night I told myself to keep smiling and keep my knees together. Unfortunately I didn't realise how see-through the cameras would make my dress."
