If you are posting a set with just a few photos I think it would be best to upload the individual photos as attachments.
If you are going to post a .ZIP file with larger sets, It might work best to post in pairs. Post at least one preview photo and the .ZIP file together in one post. That might make it easier to see what photo comes from what .ZIP file.
