Basically there are too many cameras, people making money from the photos and outsiders coming to the beach for the wrong reasons.

As far as the Neptune Festival goes, everyone there knows that there are cameras all over the place. Everybody--even women--are pointing still and video cameras at people. From the videos I've seen, most people didn't seem to mind that there are cameras there. If you look off in the background, you will see nude beach goers who aren't taking part in the Neptune Festivities. But everyone who is taking part knows about the cameras and isn't camera shy.
I can understand people not wanting to go to nude beaches because some jackass (pun intended) is voyeuring people and making money off it. Neptune isn't voyeur. It'd done out in the open.
And yeah, I would like to go to Neptune Festival.
