That depends on wheher it was film or digital. With film, you underexpose and you lose the detail. With digital, it is the reverse. Overexposing kills the detail, but you can usually get something from the darker areas. With this pic, it is either on film and lost, or poor-resolution digital and there is nothing there. When I blew it up and played with the settings, it started to pixellate into blocks larger than her panties, had we been able to see them.
