I agree. AVI, MPG, and MOV files can be so much higher quality, and easier to play. But everyone has to work with what they have I suppose...

I generally don't bother downloaing FLV videos. I know quality won't be very good, and I'd rather spend the transfer time downloading a better quality video. The only real exception is when the screenshot makes the content look especially good. Then I'll break down and download the FLV. But for the most part, I just ignore them.
