So, to answer your caption, not exactly; "Folsom" (by which I assume you mean the Folsom Street Fair) is an annual event in SF in the SOMA (South of Market) district: it's sort of leather/S&M/other fetish/gay. Given its location it's no surprise that it's largely gay (and tilted toward male gay to boot!) (pun intended), but it's become a lot more mixed than just that. In fact, enough local gays have become concerned about non-gay infiltration (straights, lesbians, bi's, and the worst subgroup of all: TOURISTS) that the annual Dore Alley event is now the hipper, "more authentic" version. What this means is that, after sorting through at least as many shots by/for gay men as Pedro has complained about from WNBR events (a lot more sporting stiffies than the couple he found there), you can find some that appeal to OCC folks, though it would probably help to also like the B, the D, the S and/or the M!
