I mean, you probably shoud invest big dollars in some high end capture and conversion equipment, so you can remaster the video until it's better than its source (like Star Wars and Indiana Jones). But, if you're so excited about

Man, the first time I saw ET was a vhs from a camcorder in a theater, and lemme tell ya, ET still looked like ET. Now, as
wrong as it is to use a personal video camera to distribute pirated copies of a major motion picture, it is even
worse to
not use that camera to share video of your friend's step sister.
