Yes, in Berkeley CA in early '07. I believe you may have seen the set at Zombietime's site (he's the right-wing blogger who, while deploring events like this, WNBR, and the Folsom Street Fair, manages to show a LOT of pictures of exactly what he's deploring!); there's also a set at nudismlife. The protest was in support of people camping in what are locally known as "live oaks" (hence the eponymous park a couple of miles northwest of this grove), and the people on the ground were there to be photographed by Jack Gescheidt, who has done a lot of "nudes with trees." Here are three of what took place above ground level.
