Teaching the use of the "Thanks" button
The occasional use of the "mods want you to read this thread first" to remind people of subscription options, I thought such a thread might be useful to teach newbies and others how to use the "Thanks" button, and it's benefits:
1) It doesn't bump an old thread or bump a newer thread for no good reason
2) Posters get credited with "Thanks" buttons, but not with "Great pix. More" posts.
