I am I being dim here, is that album not called Risa's Hen Party!!  i.e. a women's get together before a wedding? If it was a nordic area, the nudity and ritual open air bathing would not be out of keeping.
This is what a 'weird pagan/witches ceromony' ritual really looks like, I found these on a Flikr album last year!
