elvis, see above for a tutorial on how to download bigger sizes of undownloadable flickr pics. But to recap basically you right-click the thumbnail of the photo you want in the search or thumbnail screen, go to properties and get the thumbnails pic location, cut and paste the url into your browser, then change the _s or _m in the filename to _b or (rarely) _o. That will give you the large or "original" file size. If neither of the biger file formats comes up, just delete the _s extension and go with the root filename and that will give you the medium sized image that you've been digging out of your cache. Simpler, no?
