I suspect that Der Chef has never squatted ten hours a day in knee-deep mud transplanting rice in 36 degree heat. That is the alternative for the young ladies having fun in my photos. These are young successful entrepreneurs who are not forced to do what they do. In fact, they enjoy their chosen profession (the world's oldest) and would laugh at the idea that they are being oppressed. They also speak fair German which is not surprising given the great love that many Germans have for Thailand and Thai ladies.
