Because threads without one really shouldn't be threads at all. The annoying size limits means I had to split things into two zips. Which is lame considering that maybe only one or two pictures was taking the zip over the upload limit. This is a key reason you don't see many zips in threads. Because you have to hassle with splitting everything.
