About 2 years ago i bought an external hard drive enclosure or whatever you call it. It was a Nexstar-3, cost me 90 bucks(yeah i know i got ripped off)
Anyway after about a year my pc began crashing once or twice a week... so i got my sledge hammer and chainsaw out to search for the problem. The external hd was working fine except for the blue light which didn't light up anymore, i didn't think much of it until my pc began crashing more often...so i thought i''d pull the external out and it hasn't crashed since
May have been a one off, but i'm not a fan anymore
