Two stories. One, a co-worker who I frequently walked with at lunch, kept pushing me on where we bought a park model trailer. I was giving general answers. One day pulls out his AANR card and hands it to me, and says, will you please tell me where you're at... he already knew the answer. He visited a couple of times. His wife wouldn't come to the resort, too close to home, and she was afraid she might run into someone she knew.
Another one, we very seldom go to the outdoor pool. Too many people drinking all day in the the pool, little disgusting. One day we were there, wife gets out of the pool and sits at the tiki bar. I see she's talking to someone, and all of a sudden it dawns on me, it someone who is on city planning commission board with me. We chat for a bit, and he was only a day visitor and left for the day. Couple of days later, my wife has a note in her inbox to call him... so she does. He wants my wife to find a female that he could bring to the resort. She asked, does your wife know you came to the resort, or you're looking for a companion? He said no, she said, then you're on your own.
It's a little strange running into someone you know, but some of our best friends we have are from the resort.
