Made me think of something I know is hard to believe: while on my mission I fooled around with another missionary for a couple months, who later became a mission president's wife (and eventually her husband was a minor general authority!). And contrary to what you might expect, providing each other with that intimate comfort is probably what actually kept us out on our missions. I hope she remembers it all as something positive. Her heart was in the right place and we were both suffering pretty badly at the time.
