Fairly standard procedure at most nudist camps, even now. New people wanting to try social nudism were given a "guided tour" of the camp facilities and given a little information regarding expected behavior and decorum. On busy weekends I would often be asked to help the guide at our home camp. Our home camp was intended be like any "tennis & country club" with the exception that everyone was requied to be nude.
Depending on camp policies the touring visitors may have been required to be nude, as in my home camp. Since most groups included one or more males the tour guide would judge the visitors' reactions as the tour proceeded. When the group consisted of only females the tour was quite brief ( as in the referenced photo ). When the group returned to the camp office the guide would descretely signal management as to whether the visitors were genuine potential nudists and could be invited to stay. Gawkers and those that had made sexual comments were unwelcome and were asked to leave immediately.
