Agree. It takes work but worth it if it pays out. My wife was similar after menopause. Didn’t think she was attractive, which also led to less sex. I gave constant and consistent positive feedback. I was able to convince her to try a nude beach. I pretended it wasn’t planned, but we were in the area and said let’s go to the park that has many beaches that we had gone to before, but also has one that’s nude, that we didn’t ever visit.
She was nervous and said she’d be embarrassed. When she saw the others there, she decided to give it a go. Wow, she took to it better than I thought. She also saw other men were quite interested in her. It really charged her up, and she wanted sex as soon as we got home. We’ve gone to the beach many times over the last few years. It’s a drive (2.5-3 hrs) but worth it to have her out of her shell.
Definitely added a spark to our lives. Can’t say it will always work, but worth trying.
