We haven't made any changes to the way we serve the streaming videos for quite a while. We have been having an intermittent site wide issue that has been causing all page loads to be slower sometimes for the past week.
Since this streaming video problem isn't happening to everybody right now, let's try to figure out what the members having this issue have in common. For us to help troubleshooting this problem, please give us as much information as possible.
- What error(s) are you seeing? Or at what point in the video player loading does it stop?
- What sort of device are you using?
- What browser are you using?
- Are you using any antivirus software?
- Are you using a VPN?
- Are you viewing the site with the "Desktop Style" or "Mobile style"? (The style chooser is at the bottom left of every page)
If anybody was experiencing this problem and has found a workaround. Please share it with everyone here.
