I just remembered one from about 25+ years ago, when I was like 22-ish.
I was visiting a friend who was staying at one of those furnished apartments for a few months, the type where you keep all your stuff in storage but stay at a place month-by-month until you find a place to live or waiting for a house to be built, etc. In his case, he got his first "real" job after college and didn't know where to live permanently yet, so he stayed at the furnished apartment for like four months.
The complex had a pool, and there was a shower around the corner. It was clearly not a gendered shower, just a place to shower before/after going into the pool, and obviously with your swim suit on.
But I remember coming around the corner, and there was a young couple kinda playing hanky-panky, but they stopped as soon as they saw my friend and me. They were wearing swim suits.
My friend and I took a shower with our swim suits. The young couple were super embarrassed that they almost got caught, so they left soon after.
Then a family of a mom, dad, and two little kids came around the corner, and the mom stripped totally naked and showered after using the pool.
Another family came around the corner, saw the nude mom, and immediately turned around and just left.
I remembered my friend and I hurrying out of there, not understanding what the mom was thinking. I also remember that she was "the type you DON'T want to see naked," but that isn't why we ran.
Maybe the mom was European and new to the area and just thought that we were all the weird ones, not her, but I never heard her speak, so I have no idea. Or she was one of those exhibitionists who uses motherhood as an excuse to get away with things, which I have learned is super common over the years. I will never know!
