I'm almost certain you could not be seen if you didn't have any lights on. We had stayed in the area before and noticed we could hear talking from the porch next to us but they had no lights on and we couldn't see a thing. The area has no outside landsape lighting, allegedly to "not confuse the sea turtles". It was really dark.
