Default Pubic hair over the years

At a young age way back when, the growing of pubic hair was so important. No longer a little girl.
Growing through teens and early adult, the main objective was to stop the wild bush forest growing, trim, trim, trim.
Then came the wild 30s, the woman breaking free from the young woman. Bikinis, beaches, nude beaches, all a thrill. The first wax. The feedback, the husband at the time and his grin. The endless nights he dinned.
By the early 40s the routine was established, always trimmed if not shaved, and a full wax every few months for special events or holidays. Feedback now from other women, so satisfying.
By the 50s that excitement of showing the shaved pussy has died a little, but the routine stays. I shave, trim, wax for the need and the likely future activity coming up (parties, beach, holidays, particular playmates, etc).

Have I let it all grow back? No, not fully. Mine does revert to a wild bushland of annoying itching and scratching.
The older a woman is, the more she is in control of what she wants and does, and why. Whereas the younger girl is just starting the journey. Not weird, just life.
