I'd be worried about something resurfacing years later or my kids eventually having to deal with questions about something I chose to do as an adult. That doesn't necessarily mean someone with children shouldn't do it, but for me personally, I'd have to weigh those risks very seriously.
The chances of me actually getting an opportunity are slim to none, so this will probably stay in the "what-if" category. LOL!
