On a Whim
After everything with Tom and James, my husband and I decided we weren't actively searching for another long-term partner. Instead, we were enjoying the freedom of my wild phase. We started taking opportunities as they came, last minute hotel stays, spontaneous dates, meeting someone interesting while we were out together, and occasionally letting a promising stranger become a regular for a few weeks before naturally moving on.
The interesting twist was that my husband started becoming more adventurous too. Instead of simply approving my encounters, he began suggesting ideas, helping me choose between invitations, accompanying me when I met someone new, and admitting that he genuinely enjoyed seeing my confidence grow. We both realized that the lifestyle had evolved from something we'd experimented with into a genuine part of our marriage.
One summer day, we were looking through our app while camping together. We'd rented a small cabin at a local campground, and it was just the two of us enjoying a rare couple of days away. We received a message from a younger black guy in his mid twenties who seemed confident and respectful. My husband and I talked about it for a few minutes before deciding, almost on a whim, to tell him where we were.
"We're camping at the campground right now. If you're comfortable making the drive, come out."
A little while later, he showed up.
There was something especially fun about the spontaneity of it. We weren't dressed up for a night out or sitting in some carefully planned hotel room. We were camping in the summer, surrounded by trees, wearing casual clothes and enjoying the kind of relaxed atmosphere where nobody was trying too hard.
The next morning, around eleven, my husband helped me get ready to meet him. In the past, I would've spent forever doing my hair and makeup, worrying about looking perfect before meeting someone new. But I'd changed a lot by then. I was thirty, considerably more confident, and I wasn't searching for someone to become another Tom.
I hadn't even bothered with makeup that morning.
My husband laughed when he noticed.
"You're really just going like that?"
"Yep."
And honestly, I didn't care. I was camping. It was summer. I wanted to be comfortable. When the guy arrived, he didn't seem bothered in the slightest. If anything, his relaxed attitude made me even more comfortable.
He stayed with us for two nights, and what I remember most was how respectful he was. We spent plenty of time simply talking about our lifestyle, the people we'd met over the years, and some of the more adventurous things we'd experimented with. Eventually the conversation turned toward bondage.
He became intrigued when we told him about our previous experiences with restraints and safewords. He eventually looked at my husband and jokingly suggested that we take things a little further by tying me up and inviting several other guys over, both from our app as well as some friends of his.
My first reaction was hesitation.
I'd experimented with bondage before, but the idea of combining it with a larger group was considerably more intimidating. My husband and I talked privately about it, went through the boundaries we would need, and eventually decided that if I genuinely wanted to try it, we'd approach it carefully.
The cabin suddenly felt much smaller once we decided to actually go through with the plan. We took our time going over the boundaries one more time, especially the safeword and the rule that everything stopped immediately if I used it. They started by stripping me down and then they made sure everything was secure but comfortable. My wrists were positioned behind me and connected with a rope, while a second length was used to keep my position on the bed without putting pressure on me. My ankles were restrained separately so I couldn't simply roll over, but everything was loose enough to remain comfortable. Before the blindfold went on, my husband checked each restraint himself and made sure I could move my fingers and feet normally. Then they went over the safeword one final time. Once the blindfold was in place, hearing my husband's voice nearby became especially reassuring. I couldn't see what was happening around me, which made the anticipation considerably more intense, but I knew exactly how to stop things if I became uncomfortable. Meanwhile, our guest began messaging a few friends, while my husband opened the app and started looking for other interested guys nearby. Lying there blindfolded, listening to the two of them quietly making arrangements while knowing I had agreed to everything was an oddly exhilarating feeling.
With the blindfold still in place, I had no idea how many people had actually arrived. From the voices and movement around the cabin, I guessed there were probably eight or nine guys. I couldn't tell who was who, which made the whole situation feel surreal. Every so often I'd recognize my husband's voice, which immediately grounded me, but otherwise I was left trying to piece together what was happening from footsteps, whispered conversations, and the occasional laugh. The anticipation was almost more intense than anything else because I couldn't see the room or the people in it. What I can piece together from the experience is one minute my husband is kissing me while another guy massages me and is rubbing my p****. Once I was ready to go, the penetration didn't stop for at least two hours. I had probably 6 creampies total and it was constant for the entire two hours with short breaks in between to switch out. Same restraints, same position, just switching out guys every so often.
I remember thinking that morning at the campground I'd never imagined the day would end with me blindfolded in a cabin surrounded by a group of strangers, completely trusting my husband to keep an eye on everything. It was easily one of the boldest things we'd attempted during my wild phase.
What surprised me most wasn't simply the novelty. It was how comfortable I'd become with myself.
A few years earlier, I would've worried about everything, how I looked, whether someone approved of me, whether I was being too adventurous. Now I could laugh, take a deep breath, and simply enjoy being part of an experience we'd chosen together.
And our new area seemed to have no shortage of people willing to explore the same lifestyle.
By that point, I wasn't wondering when we'd find another long-term partner anymore.
I was thirty, confident, comfortable with myself, and genuinely enjoying the unpredictability of the chapter we were living.
