Normalization and contextualization take place.
We go to a "nudity-expected" resort; where almost everyone is fully naked most of the time. We also socialize; so I get to see naked people up-close. After a while, you just get used to it; as people are just "going about their business"; naked, but in a non-sexual way. I still notice and appreciate what I see; but it doesn't arouse me physically.
Someone would have to behave in a sexual way (which has happened; but is fairly rare at AANR resorts) for me to "see" them sexually. So the way I see a stripper, for example, is going to be radically different from how I see a "regular" nudist. They might be both fully naked, but the context is different.
It's the same at home with the wife. She frequently walks around naked; and although I like it, I'm so used to seeing her naked body that it doesn't trigger me. But if she starts acting sexy, I'm going to want to smash.
