Resort nudist here; but same concept. And I totally agree. You don't have to be a gawker to notice things as you encounter various naked people during the course of the day. It's different when you see nudists in a crowd from a distance; they all seem to just "blend-in" together. The same as anywhere else.
Seeing a woman sunbathing legs open and vulva clearly visible will definitely get noticed by both my wife and I. Our responses are completely different though. My wife is more critical (which is a bit hypocritical because she sometimes does it too; although not as "openly"); while I am more likely to be admirative (and my wife knows and is secure enough that she doesn't care). My wife is actually more admirative of women with large firm boobs (her own are smaller) and women with big butts (which she can relate to); than men (and I'm secure enough to not be threatened by her admiring women lol!)
Since most of the nudists at my resort are shaven bald, we are also more likely to notice a hairy bush. It stands out.
There are a couple of trans at our resort; but the "other way around." "Male-looking" individuals (facial hair, hairy body, receding hairline) but with pussies. One has a hairy chest with actually really nice boobs. It always throws me though a loop. I don't know if I'm looking at a man or a woman.

But I just smile and pretend to not notice.
