It wasn’t a cheap place so it all kinda made sense and it wasn’t a big deal to be honest.
Anyway we had to travel on the morning and we got there early. I was there first and checked in and dropped my bag and put my suit on a hanger in the room and then rushed down to start drinking with family members and other guests in the hotel bar.
Kirsty didn’t get there till about 1 pm with the wedding due to start at 3. We had a quick chat and I pass her the key card for the room so she goes to get ready. My plan was to wait for her to come down and then go up and change quickly into my suit. By around 2.10 Kirsty isn’t anywhere to be seen and not reading my Whattsapp messages so I decide I needed to go up and get changed. When I get up there without a key card Kirsty doesn’t answer the door. I assume she’s with family elsewhere in the hotel so I go down to get another card for the door.
By the time I get back into the room time is getting on and I could hear that Kirsty was in the bathroom so I knock on the door to let her know that I’m around (the right thing to do!) and tell her to hurry up because I need a pee. She says ‘cool - won’t be long’ or something like that. Then a few minutes later I hear the shower turn on. WTAF. So I knock on again and ask how long she will be and she swears, tells me to stop rushing her and to come in if I desperately need to.
3 or 4 pints in and desperate to pee I go in and the toilet is straight ahead with the shower cubicle on the right and behind the door as I opened it, so its understandable that she thinks it’s no big deal. I managed to get to the loo to pee without seeing anything. All good.
After finishing I instinctively turn to the right - obviously not the thing to do! Naked woman 3 feet away!
Kirsty has her back to the shower head and just looks at me and shakes her head and says ‘perv’.
Nothing else was ever said. No big issue and sorry for the very long post but quite good fun looking back haha.

Nice story 😃Not as cool as yours pal but best I’ve got for this thread is a hotel room experience which was also at a wedding. My cousin was getting married in London and I travelled down with my parents and we met my sister and her boyfriend, let’s call him Dave, there because they had travelled from Newcastle where they were both studying.
We arrived the day before the wedding and did family stuff and my sister and her boyfriend arrived at the hotel the next day. When they arrived they were told they couldn’t check in til 2pm so they asked me if they could drop their bags and get changed in my room. After dropping their bags and saying hello they left to see my parents and others and I took the opportunity to get showered and suited ready for the day. When they came back I left them to have the room and told them I’d be back up about 45 minutes later so that we could share a taxi to the venue together and I wouldn’t be stuck with my parents and other oldies.
45 minutes later I knock on the door and Dave answers and says come in at which point my sister shouts ‘but I’m not ready’. She’s out of sight at this point, like by the side of the bed behind where the en-suite sticks out. I thought she meant that she wasn’t quite ready to leave so I continued walking into the room. Two seconds later I could see she meant to wasn’t dressed. 🤣
She was stepping into her dress hurriedly and pulling it up but not fast enough 🤣🤣
Happy times 😂
