New kid on the block here.

I am on a dial-up connection, so I couldn't possibly post in the volume that the likes of Everlong, et al, do. But I really like the idea of a "Thank You" button. It would allow the poster to see that I appreciate the time and effort that (s)he has put into posting. I feel sorta weird pulling up a bunch of threads, perusing the offerings as though I was at an all-you-can-eat buffet, downloading my selections, then thanking the poster for their work....I know this bumps the thread, and for no reason other than I wanted to say thanks. So, to avoid a dozen threads getting bumped, as happened a few days ago.....I sometimes just download and move on. An extraordinary post, such as those of Everlong, will get a thank you, almost always. But like I said, I feel "dopey" cluttering up the board with a bunch of Thank You's. I just finished reading a thread about lots of bumps due to all the "great thx" posts. This is the sort of thing I am trying to avoid, so I feel kinda stuck between a rock, and a hard place.

Anyway, thanks to all. And Merry Christmas!
