fitne - I feel as though there are just some women who get the urge to sit comfortably and without considering what they are doing put their feet up on something in front of them regardless of whether they are wearing a dress or not. I hope your work colleague didn't cause too many distractions at work.
This lady below is a perfect example of a woman who attempted to sit properly even as she was taking pictures in the beginning at this dignified ceremony. However, as time passed, she could not resist the urge to sit more comfortably. To sit more comfortably she placed both of her feet up on the bench/row below her with her feet wide apart. This would have been perfectly fine if she had been wearing pants, but she was wearing a denim colored dress that was above the knee and as she sat casually provided little to no modesty.
