Great reminders when late night TV was sexy and no one worried about "offending" someone so the whiners were told to turn it off if they didn't like it. We didn't rely on US crap that was often violent even in those days, predictable and with repetitive stories like different coats in the same rainstorm. There was also the old satelite systems that you could connect with european satelites (long before the internet) that allowed you to watch "Tutti Fruitti" and similar. I think I've still got some of the videos like the Electric Blues stil tucked away in a box somewhere in the back of a wardrobe top cupboard. The quality is probably horrendous in comparison to today but I would love to have our TV bring back that sort of programmes.
