I have posted before about the confidence women get from safety in numbers when it comes to topless sunbathing and this phenomenon definitely follows through to showering at the beach. This summer while we were away it was clear that showering on the beach both loosens inhibitions of women who aren’t otherwise topless as well as them being more likely to shed their top is another woman already has.

As per the post above, my wife Jane is a regular topless sunbather and it tends to be the case that once the top comes off it stays off for sunbathing, swimming, walking along the beach etc. One day earlier this summer we ended up on a beach in Spain that was near a little town and as such had showers dotted along it at quite regular intervals. The showers were at the top of the beach near the promenade and we ended up sitting half way between the water and the promenade directly in line with one of the public showers.

After our first swim Jane said she was going to rinse off as she preferred not to be covered and in the salt water when she sunbathed. She put her top back on before walking up to the shower as she wanted to assess it before just going topless at the shower. When we got there there was no one there so we went under a shower each and rinsed off. As we got out and started to walk back to our loungers Jane pulled her wet top straight off and hung it on the umbrella shade before lying down.

After our 2nd swim Jane grabbed her top again and we walked up to the showers. It was much busier now and we had to wait for a few minutes. As we were waiting one girl under the shower pulled her top off and rinsed and squeezed it out under the shower. I also noticed that another women waiting behind us was topless. There were 4 shower heads and when one became available I let Jane go first. Almost immediately another came free so I stepped under. Jane was next to me and as she rinsed around her bikini bottoms she pulled the back of them down exposing most of her bum and then when she faced into the water she pulled the front of them forwards and then down revealing her landing strip and most of her mound. A few seconds later the topless woman from the queue got under one of the other showers and almost immediately Jane pulled her top off and squeezed it out under the shower before stepping away and waiting for me. We then walked back to our loungers.

For the rest of the day Jane went to the shower topless and I noticed that when she was either queuing or under the showers it was women as much as men who stole glances at her and quite often those women would take their tops off to shower before putting them back on again afterwards. Some of the women had totally white boobs so clearly didn’t sunbathe topless so it was quite a thrill to see what was usually forbidden fruit.
