Something about someone who is doing it for the love of the game is just better for me. Just doesn't make me enjoy it when I know someone is trying to get money in some way from it. I would say that it didn't really die down, most the girls up here aren't professionals. I would say facial recognition apps aren't great for participation in these type of things moving forward, but somewhere like Fremont it doesn't matter as much. No one up here would lose their job. Doctors do it, professionals do it etc. No one would dare fire someone up here for something like this, and professionals do it knowing people will be able to recognize them. There isn't "shame" the shame is on the people who think there would be shame. Same sort of thing with the PDX ones, but a much different vibe. Huge, huge female turnout. But strict no photographs unless people are taking them themselves. Cameras get knocked down like flock cameras. To me that has always been the funniest part, only a few hours away from each other and an entirely different vibe. Seattle is about photography, people posing, etc. PDX people might literally attack you if they saw you taking a photo.
