The "Last chance kisses" reminded me of a related story. Not an actual wedding and kind of tame, but still fun. I had been hooking up with this incredibly hot woman on and off. The sex was incredible, but as far as relationships it was like we were on different planets. But when we were together, we couldn't keep our hands off each other. Like once she invited me for coffee to "talk" and at the end I was pretty sure I had just been dumped, when she said "so, uh do you want to come over now?" This went on for a few months, then she finally broke it off completely.
Fast forward about a year and she had fallen for another guy and was engaged to get married, but he lived in another state, and she had to move there. So she had a going-away party at a bar and invited me out of the blue. It was kind of awkward and I got some dirty looks from her friends but I had some drinks and made the best of it. I barely talked to her all night, but later on I was walking back from the restroom and she was walking towards it, and she just grabs me and starts making out with me right there. Her friends pretty quickly caught on and literally whisked her away and out of the bar with a hasty "Goodbye!". Needless to say I wasn't invited to the wedding.
A while after she got married she called and left a message saying she was in town for a bit and did I want to get a drink. Unfortunately I was off on a camping trip and missed what would have surely been a great hook-up.
