I was browsing Twitter and saw some works from painter Anders Zorn. He didn’t use professional models for his paintings and instead used local village girls. His wife even helped recruit them.
Makes you think about all the exquisite nude female forms that have been preserved in paintings throughout history. A vast majority were probably ordinary women who had never done something like posing nude before.
