Decades ago I was in the USAF as a B52 crew member. We sat alert every third week on our nuclear bomb loaded B52s, ready to go destroy the USSR, if need be. We lived in an alert facility for the week, very close to our planes. But we had after hours access to many places on the base....IYKYK. One night my wife met me at the base gym.
