For reference: I’m a 29-year-old American man. I’ve been to several nude beaches, nudist events, and nude spas in the US and the UK. I’ve learned some German, but I won’t be fluent. I’m fluent in English and fairly fluent in French. These questions will discuss V in B; K in B; and TE in M.

(1) I plan to book spa reservations ahead of time as much as possible. What are good times to book entry at V in B on a Friday and a Saturday? I read that the bouncers are less strict (or absent entirely) earlier in the day. When do they first come out, and when do they get stricter? That Friday will likely be my first time at V in B – though I plan to have gone to K in B beforehand. It seems like they’re stricter on first-time guests, and it doesn’t seem wise to lie about having been there before. Should I make a reservation for a very early time, especially for that Friday, to increase my chances of entry?

(2) The reservation booking at V in B seems to be a small fee for the reservation only, with no option to choose the length of my visit at the spa until I arrive. Is that correct? Is there an optimal length of visit to buy once I get there, to maximize my chances of being let in?

(3) Regarding the bouncers at V in B, I’ve seen advice to dress nicely and be polite. What else should I say and do? I will be obviously American – would they think it’s weird for an American tourist to be dressed nicely, to the point that it would reflect badly on me? What might I wear for the best chance at entry?

(4) At any of the spas (V in B; K in B; or TE in M):
(a) Is there a limit to how many times I can open my locker while there? (to get water etc)
(b) Can I wear sandals/flip-flops everywhere (except in the pools), or should I go barefoot in some places?
(c) Can I carry a reusable water bottle full of water? (Yes at V, not sure at K or TE)
(d) Is there a place to refill my water bottle, or should I bring all the water I need?
(e) Should I bring a towel and bathrobe, or is it better to get one at the spa?
(f) When and where is it required to cover with a robe/towel? When would it be a problem for me to be naked?
(g) Where can I find maps of the interiors of the facilities?

(5) How does booking tickets/reservations work at TE in M and K in B? What are the best methods?

(6) I read that K in B is swimsuit optional (but not required) all day on Wednesday, and on Sunday until 5:30 pm. Thus, I can be naked there anytime. Is this correct?

(7) Is there anything else that I seem to be misunderstanding about any of the spas?

Thank you for reading, and thank you for sharing your wisdom!
In all three you can go to your locker as often as you wish. In TE and VB they are assigned. In KB you can choose any locker. You can bring your own water bottle and there are plenty of places in each to refill it. You can bring your own towel and bathrobe, it will save you $ and less chance of it being mistakenly taken by someone else. You should bring two towels. Yes, you may wear sandals everywhere except in the pools and in the saunas, you will leave them outside the sauna door (and you can also go barefoot everywhere). For TE and KB you probably don't need a reservation, you can just walk up and purchase an entry ticket. For VB you definitely should make a reservation and have access to it on your phone or printed. I have never had difficulty getting in VB, but I recommend dressing nicely, being well groomed, and show up 10-15 minutes before your reservation time. If it is your first time I don't think this is a problem, they are mainly asking in case you need information. I wouldn't lie about this. I remember maps in VB and TE. KB is not so large to need a map. For VB on a Friday it would partly depend on what else I had planned for that day, but I might go in the early afternoon around 2:00.
For all of these - go to enjoy the sauna experience - make sure you understand the rules (e.g. no feet on benches) - and don't be creepy, just enjoy the sights as they come...
