All three of the women in my life have enjoyed getting naked for the camera. Two of them have done it spontaneously without any prompting from me. There seems to be something about it that they found appealing and liberating. Like the camera gives them permission to be outrageous.
I remember the first of the three talking about naked art models with our landlord and his wife over dinner. She told us all that she'd love to pose in the nude for a life class. My wife has actually posed nude in a professional photographic studio. Later, she was interviewed about it.
She told how two random men had walked in while she was standing there with nothing on under the lights. That she hadn't let them put her off and just carried on regardless. She said that she had been excited and exhilarated by the experience. Afterwards, she had felt proud of herself for doing it.
One of the other ladies who posed said that she felt a great sense of achievement and had enjoyed being the centre of attention like on her wedding day. Another said she was high on adrenaline. My wife also said that to get up there and take all her clothes off at nearly fifty was a terrific boost to her confidence. She was delighted with the results and happily showed the photos to anyone who wanted to see them. It didn't bother her that some of her pictures appeared on this forum. She said that the photographer could make anyone look beautiful.
One of my wife's best friends also posed nude in similar circumstances. My daughter said to them that she couldn't understand how they could do it. They told her that, after having children and all they'd been through in life, nudity wasn't a problem for them.
I'd say it was much more than that for my wife. She had an absolute blast.
Finally, she's something of a raconteur. Once her tongue is loosened by alcohol, she rarely misses an opportunity to tell people that she has been a nude model. This makes for a great anecdote to entertain people over the dinner table. Invariably, they are impressed by her bottle.
