Not to be a major downer ... but a few years ago, Botswana led the world in AIDS. Not curing it ... HAVING it.
Some other cultures are opposite of what many people expect. Southeast Asian girls, pretty conservative, except for those who "make a living" at it.
The timid little "scared as a mouse" sometimes turn out to be "I'm naked. So what? If you touch me, I will kill you."
I recall an Asian big-city, many apartment buildings. I happened to see a "neighbor" while on my way to work in the morning and we exchanged greetings. Obviously foreigners from the same country. I recognized that she, and her younger sister, lived in a nearby building. 4th floor, I think. With windows facing my abode. Dark mornings, 0559, the father would slam open their door and let them know that it was morning. Little sister would bounce off to a bathroom or somewhere, but the older girl would invariable stay on the upper bunk of the bunkbed, and stretch her arms up as she removed the T-shirt. Once, only once, she didn't even wear the T-shirt.
Oh, not that I'm a pervert or anything, but a 20x spotting scope is always good to have. With a tripod.
And - - I do happily recall those good times, many years later.
