The guy is, regardless of how the trial goes, a huge asshole, by all accounts. The relationships he had with these girls were not stable, long-term relationships, and besides having non-consensual intercourse with them while they were asleep, he filmed them at the same time, also without consent.
The girls were never made aware of the fact that he did this by him, some were actually informed by the police who found the footage on his phone after his first arrest.
This is a serious crime and not comparable to an implicit agreement of being available for sexual activities when you’re asleep as you describe.
If he’s found guilty I hope they lock him away for a long time.

This is Norway, not the US. Not much money to be had, there won’t be millions in settlements or lawsuits, the victims are usually awarded a fairly small amount of money, depending on whether there are physical damage or long-lasting injuries, and whether there has been a financial loss due to the assault. It’s usually around 15k US dollars or slightly higher if there is serious injuries or financial loss.
Nobody in their right mind will go through the whole aggravating process for that amount of money (this isn’t a life-changing amount of money in Norway by far).
Personally, I don’t find this to be a subject to make light of, nor do I find the victim blaming apparent in the comments appropriate, to be honest.
