Many years ago, in my young and single days I embarked on an affair with work colleague of my best friend. She wasn't married, but she was as good as, with a live-in fiancé and settled home life.
We hit it off at a party one night and ended up sharing a bed with the aforementioned (female) work colleague - not a great deal happened, other than a secret hand job in the early hours of the morning whilst our mutual friend was (probably) asleep.
As the affair developed, we worked up to having sex for the first time - in the spare room of our mutual friend.
