A similar case is improving the resolution. AI upgrades to full HD really well, unless the photo is really small.

Here's one reworked photo, remove if it breaks the rules... but it's only as an example of what I'm talking about.
Use your imagination. It will produce better results than any AI you can use now or in the future.
