What sometimes happens with self-proclaimed "modest" wives is they "forget" to be modest; either because they are slightly intoxicated, having fun or just completely relaxed. After the fact, they realize they've actually been uninhibited; and are conflicted about this "break from their modest self-image." So they "over-correct" and/or say things like: "I'm actually not THAT comfortable with what just happened."
A few years back we met up with some nudist acquaintances at the resort; and they decided to arrange their lounge chairs in a semi-circle instead of the usual "side-by-side." We were all naked. We got into a very lively discussion; and when I glanced over at my wife, her posture had relaxed and she was lounging with her legs open enough for everyone to see her vulva. She didn't seem at all self-conscious, as she was clearly relaxed and enjoying the interaction; along with the whisky that was offered to us.
Afterwards, she pulled a "that was outside my comfort zone..."
and grabbed a cover-up.
And she just goes back and forth. She'll claim "modesty" one minute; and the next I'll see her chatting with someone while standing over them naked with her feet apart. I guess it would be too easy to just accept that at this point most of the regulars have seen her naked "every which way" and that her modesty is mostly "performative." But oh well lol!
