I sell and install POS (point of sales software) to boutiques. I had a store scheduled to come on line in a couple of weeks, so plenty of time to set up registers and software. Then the owner call me and asked how quickly I can just get at least two registered going, she was purchased a container of womens apparel, If she could just sell a portion of this stuff, it would give her a cash boost right off the bat.
I organized the staff, got them trained on the software, get about 10K items priced and inventoried, in three days they were ready for a preopening sale. I was going to be there for the problems that were sure to happen. they set up a crude dressing room, basically just an area behind some dress racks. The clothes were for the 20-28 market, within 20 minutes of opening, the were over a dozen people waiting. Within a half hour I started setting up another register that I would run, everyone else was slammed.
We had a few issues a mismarked merch, customer for the benefit, by noon, it was going so well, we had another crew marking more merch. Some time in there the dress rack that was the dressing room was almost bare, if I looked in the direction lots of bare boobs, butts in thongs, this was in March, so sundresses were big sellers.
I've been on Bourbon St. on Mardi Gras, but I've only seen a display like that on a topless beach in France.
