I agree TE is not as good as VinB, but it may be the best in Munich area. It is very close to the airport so convenient if arriving that way. But it is 40-60 min from the center of Munich by train or car which make it inconvenient if there. And may also skew the clientele.
I found the sauna's very good as well as the aufguss ceremonies. It was definitely older than VinB, and on the expensive side. When I was there in the summer the textile side was absolutely packed with families on the water slides and various pools, yet the textile-free zone was not too crowded. There are a few saunas which are much brighter than the ones at VinB.
