CHAPTER 18

Jerrod had been awake for over an hour. He didn’t want to miss this chance to shoot during a sunrise; tomorrow it was supposed to rain and he was headed back to college the next day after that..

Arriving at the lake early gave him enough time to check that he had everything ready - this would be tricky to do by himself. Having grown up here he knew generally where his best spot would be, but he still wanted to scout for a moment to make sure the trees wouldn’t be in the way.

After walking around the pond there was just enough light that he could make out the horizon. Setting up first his tripod and then the camera he got for Christmas, he made sure the wireless shutter release was paired up and locked on; he didn’t want anything going into sleep mode causing him to miss his shot.

Then he took out the other camera, the one he had on loan from his film department before break started. Both ultra-light batteries were fully charged. He got everything set up, made sure the borrowed cam was working properly and that the platform was responding to the remote control.

With a smile, Jerrod launched the drone into the air.

Ellie approached the near side of the pond; if the last hundred yards she had been walking on gravel, here she had to be careful she didn’t trip over a rock or divot in the ground. The sidewalk was in need of repair everywhere, but mostly around the pond.

With her arms in close she was having trouble balancing. Reluctantly Ellie put her arms out to her sides to keep from losing that balance and falling. Not only did this expose her, it would cost her an extra second to cover up if anyone did see her. With her head down looking at the ground to keep from tripping, she didn’t see the near silent drone overheard.

Jerrod frowned - he wasn’t expecting anyone else to be out here and he was annoyed that the early morning walker might ruin his shot. He thought about buzzing whoever it was to get their attention, but as he took the drone in closer he could see at first it was a woman, then a woman who looked to be wearing tight clothing. The drone was coming up behind her so her body was in silhouette and he couldn’t make anything out beyond her figure. Curious, he took the drone higher as it flew over the other person and turned it around to see who it was.

With the sun behind the drone Jerrod quickly noticed two things. One, the woman was looking down as if to watch her footing; her hair was falling forward just enough to hide part of her face so he couldn’t see who it was. And two, she was naked as the day she was born! Damn, she -did- have a nice figure, even more now that he could see her whole figure.

Double-checking that he was recording, he zoomed in while keeping the drone high up so she wouldn’t see it. Slowly flying backwards to keep pace with the naked beauty, he forgot all about recording the sunrise. As the sky got brighter and brighter he could make out more details about the woman including her hair color, and before long he could even see just how erect her nipples were.

Jerrod couldn’t believe how oblivious the woman was to the drone’s presence. As the sky got lighter he flew the drone around to her backside again, this time able to make out more of her, including the curve of her bare bottom and each cheek.

By now she was getting to the far side of the pond and Jerrod wasn’t sure how much further out the drone could go and still be in range of the remote. He hadn’t seen her face so circling back to face the woman from the front, Jerrod bought the drone down until it was a few feet above her and 10-15 feet in front of her - out of arm’s reach he figured, backing it up slowly to keep pace with the naked woman’s slow walk.

Ellie was paranoid by now - thanks to a treacherous stretch where she hadn’t dare look up for fear of falling, she hadn’t been checking her surroundings. She risked pausing where she was so she could look around. At first she didn’t see anything and so she started to walk forward again. The movement of the drone caught her eye and she looked up, freezing in place with her arms still held out to balance her. For a moment she couldn’t tell if it was a bird or something else, but then her eyes opened wide as she realized what it was. She shrieked and threw her arms over her chest and pussy. She tried to run, but the rough ground forced her to go slow until she got to the far side of the pond when she could finally move faster.

Shaking her head she tried to get as much hair to fall over her face as she could, but she knew the damage had been done - someone else she didn’t know had seen her! She didn’t know enough about drones to know whether she had been caught on video or if someone was taking photos, but for at least a second she had been fully exposed, not covering up, with her face fully visible. Her eyes started to tear up again as she realized there was a growing likelihood that somehow this would get back to her family, that somehow everyone in her hometown would not only hear about her naked adventures, but see the photos or videos that were sure to go viral. She was -not- an exhibitionist, and so didn’t think about why under one hand she was feeling her rock-hard nipple, or why under the other hand she was feeling a wetness that hadn’t been there since her escapade in the school gym earlier that night.

Reluctantly Jerrod rotated the drone to get a side and then rear-view of the naked woman as she tried and failed to hurry past. His remote was indicating the drone couldn’t go any further without going out of range, and he wasn’t about to follow her and leave all his other equipment behind, no matter how unlikely it was that someone else would be around to steal it. Sighing to himself as he watched her naked rear end continue to get further away, he started to think about how he might use the footage and smiled - he’d post it to his high school’s alumni page, the high school here in town. Maybe someone else would recognize who the woman was.
