Default AI is our saviour?

I don't know if this is the right place for this, but I had a very interesting chat with a mate yesterday. I was (in a round about way trying to talk him to come on holiday with us) once again bemoaning the lack of topless sunbathing because of the fear of getting photo'd and posted online forever. And he was talking about the exponential growth in quantity in AI slop of amateur nudes, but also just how realistic it has already got.

It was then that we felt like we had a lightbulb moment. If my wife found a photo of her with her baps out on a beach posted on line, or more likely shown to her by someone (likely male) she knows, would she be certain it was even her? If she knew it was her, could she just claim it was AI? Surely we are going to reach a point where the probability of a woman being posted online as a real image is vastly less than the likelihood of it being an AI fake? Are we there already? And if so, and women start to discuss this amongst themselves, will it lead to lessening of the fear of a photo of their norks appearing online as there would be no way of proving it was real, and therefore it was far far more likely to be AI.

Will this tip the balance back to women getting their tits out on European beaches again? I do hope so!
