It was about twenty years ago, a new family moved in next door to us. I was chatting with the mom about the usual topics- how old are your kids, school, etc. when she does this double take looking at the woman who lived on the other side of my house. She said “that’s boob job Robin”! I was “what”? She said for their anniversary the prior year her husband offered her either a diamond ring or new boobs and he pushed strongly for the boobs. She ended up getting the boobs and showed them to a group of women at the swim club. I said something like “you’re kidding” and she said no, she whipped them out and bragged about she hadn’t boobs this nice since she was a teenager. Takes all kinds, I guess.
