On the face of it, yes it would seem AI can enhance and improve old photos. But firstly, it's not perfect. Take your second example, where the AI tool has done something weird to the model's eyes. Second, and more importantly, taken out of context and with no knowledge of the original there's no way to tell that the photo isn't totally AI generated. This example from your earlier post:

If I had found that on it's own I would have dismissed it as pure AI fantasy.
There are more and more AI enhanced, nudified and 100% AI images appearing on this site and it's very depressing.
