And even within the USA, it can range wildly. We had a very strict Catholic family living behind us with seven kids when we were kids. My sister had a sleepover there once, and she said they only had two bathrooms, so everyone saw each other naked getting changed or around shower time every day. She freaked out and came home earlier than planned, ha!
My cousins would come visit and they didn't care about being naked. I saw my girl cousins get completely nude to change, walked around topless after showers, etc, change in front of everyone to show off new clothes. They would never bat an eye.
My best friend growing up lived on a lake, so his entire family skinny dipping was as normal as the sun rising. His sister found every excuse to show off her enormous boobs any time she could.
My wife and her sister were prudes growing up, but their mother was always naked. Even the first day I met my wife's mother...I met her when she was naked. She was getting out of the bath and walked out naked to shake my hand. I was shocked, but my wife didn't even flinch. She was used to it.
It's even more wild to go to college and share space in the dorms and meet people who literally walk around naked vs people who wouldn't even be seen in pjs.
Then there was my own family...my mother was such a prude that she made my sister sleep in a bra because she saw my sister's nipples poke through her pjs once and my mother lost her mind. I have met lots of women with this type of experience growing up.
I think it's more relaxed in the USA than people think, though, but few families admit it or talk about it, to be honest. Raising kids myself (who are now adults), it was interesting when they would have friends over. Some would change in the living room in front of everyone; others wouldn't even wear pjs and kept their street clothes on.
When my kids were 18-19, my daughter brought a friend on vacation with us. She was 18, and she had no issue being naked in the hotel room in front of us after showers or changing into swim suits. We have brought others with us over the years, and while some were the opposite, most were on the more relaxed and free spirit side.
