Yes, you are right about the possibility of the wife's picture(s) being posted by some random person. This is why you must really trust the person you have allowed to see the more explicit pictures. It happened to one husband who he and I have shared pictures with. He trusted the wrong individual who posted his wife's pictures in several porn sites that was discovered by a family friend who told his wife about seeing her nude pictures. Needless to say he caught holy hell. I don't know how things turned out, but he tried to get them taken down. He had some limited success.
So you are indeed right. By using Google lens to search for the wife's pictures and see if they are floating around out on the net. The main thing is to know who you are sharing with.
